Patrol Security

All Star patrol operations are always performed with punctuality in scheduling and extreme attention to detail. Security guards on patrol, whether it be on foot, a bicycle, golf cart or in a vehicle, continually conduct detailed security checks on their assigned locations. During each circuit, security guards are constantly alert for any signs of unusual circumstances that may indicate a possible break-in, trespass or theft and for ‘suspicious people’ who may be within their assigned routes and about to commit a crime.

Only police officers and sheriff’s deputies have actual powers of arrest, but security guards can make a “citizen’s arrest” and detail suspects until authorities arrive. They also answer service calls about suspicious people and criminal activities and can issue traffic citations and warning notices if so required.

In some cases, All Star armed security guards are employed within armored cars to escort cash and negotiable securities to and from banks and financial institutions. They also escort valuable shipments and protect people making large commercial bank deposits. Bullet proof vests are sometime worn by guards during high-risk transports.
